If you're an unsigned independent artist like I am, then you know what it's like to be your own booking agent, manager, accountant, personal assistant, marketing guru, promotions manager, street team, make-up artist, website designer, wardrobe stylist, and hype squad. And you definitely know that the "DIY" model isn't always the most efficient or the most desired, but you work it anyway because you know that there is light at the end of the tunnel. So here's to all you indie artists out there, and to anyone else who gets up every morning with their minds set on their master plan and their hearts aimed at their purpose and their passion!
